- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪HE'S GONE> Pain management doctor who I've seen for several years - he does prescribe narcotics (opioids) . A few months ago cut back on office hours; 2 weeks ago his office called to reschedule my appointment because of a "medical emergency." Appt at his office with a new doctor. At appt was told they had "taken over" his practice. ONE PROBLEM; new doc does not prescribe any type of narcotics AND will not prescribe anything for withdrawal symptoms. He had at least 10 employees including 2 nurse practitioners who could have placed his patients with comparable physician. I HOPE HE DOESN"T RETURN>June 25, 2017by Susan Boykin
