  Today I was in the home due to my loved one being there for rehabilitation. While there I heard a few families complaining about the care that their loved one is not receiving . I also witnessed the boss or what I assume was the boss yelling at a young lady asking her what her problem was and that she has no sympathy for her because she is going on 14 days with none off. The young lady explained that she was not looking for sympathy that she wanted to provide good care and that she works 7 days a week , three jobs with no days off. This supervisor was very callus and ignorant. The girl happened to be taking care of my loved one so I pulled her aside to thank her for the exceptional care she provides and to not let someone of this ignorance make her cry and bless this girls heart because she said "Oh no, I'm not crying at all from her remarks , I don't care what she has to say . All I care about are these people getting the care they deserve ." She had also been up all night from working a midnight shift at her other job. Now that is dedication and a hard worker. About 30 minutes later, I hear this woman in the hallway again but this time she is up at the nurses station and cussed while explaining something to the nurses. What kind of nursing home is this ? Who would allow this woman to be in charge of anything ? I hope to get my loved one out of here as soon as possible . To the young lady that is new at this home and is experiencing this type of treatment , please find a job that appreciate's your work ethic, drive and compassion for others. As to Hennis of Dover you should be ashamed of yourselves and the lack of staff and care you provide to these people who need help.You should consider treating your staff better and you would not find yourselves short of help .   Make sure to ask about insurance coverage. It appears that each facility has it's own in network members and facilities so I am stuck paying out- of-network fees. Pat's Porch prepares very rich food so be ready to gain weight. No fresh veggies.
